Countdown to Un-Shushed Relaunch: 45 Days

 

  • Read a note you are writing for a family member to your child. They can begin to learn that print has meaning.

A hand-written note, not neccessarily an email. Although emails work too. Really, your little learner just has to understand that words and letters go beyond stories in books or markings on a page. Letters and words have sounds and meaning. And even when you’re not reading, you’re using your words and their sounds to communicate — morning, noon and night.
